How to Play:

Select a game mode on the title screen by clicking on one of the cards: 3, 4, 5 or 6. See 'Difficulty Levels' for an explanation of each.

Tip: for a "normal" game of UNO, select the 4 card on the title screen.

Get rid of all of your cards to win!

Play a card on the discard pile by matching the color or number of the previously discarded card. You can also match symbols like Skip (/) or Reverse </>.

If you play a Skip, Reverse, or Draw +2/+3/+4 card, the opponent's turn will be skipped and you may play again.

If you cannot play a card, click the draw pile to draw a card. If it can be played, it will be, automatically.

Wild cards allow you to change the color in play!

Scoring

The player who runs out of cards first wins. The losing player's hand is tallied for score, and the winning player receives this score.

Number cards are worth their face value.

Action cards (Skip/Reverse/Draw) are worth 20 points

Wild Cards are worth 50 points.

Wild Draw +8 card is worth 300.

The highest score and number of games played is tracked per session.

Difficulty Levels

Modes 3 + 4 use the standard UNO rules:

3 - Quick - Three different colors

4 - Normal - Regular Game of UNO with four colors

Modes 5 + 6:

Color on the back of cards represents drawing power:

• Plain: None
• Green: Draw+2
• Blue: Draw+3
• Purple: Draw+4
• Orange: Draw+8

5 - Advanced - Five colors, Draw+3 added.

6 - Expert - Six colors, Draw+8 added.

Auto Play

You can turn on auto play and leave the game running to simulate many games at a time. Use the Up and Down arrow keys to increase or decrease the computer speed.

Technical Details

Unzip the files and run God_of_UNO.exe to play! This was a random spur-of-the-moment project written from scratch in C++, and hasn't been tested on many different machines, so please let me know if there are any issues running it. If you run it at 1920x1080, it should work perfectly, but other resolutions might have visual issues.
